Dinosaur Tom is a cartoon TV show about a caveman of the same name. He engages in real-world problems in a prehistoric setting, but at real-time. Many episodes of Dinosaur Tom show him waiting in line at the post office only to find that the pternadon had misfiled his mail and it was classified as a national threat, or something to that effect. It was known for it's ultra-real treatment of common and difficult subject matters like taxation and death.
Dinosaur Tom was often accompanied by his friends Bandanny the Bandit Caveman and Cedric the Brontosaurus.
